Tips for avoiding blisters - Beginner runners

TIPS on AVOIDING BLISTERS in the HEAT-
Vaseline your feet
Keep toe nails as short as possible
Socks higher than ankle
Different shoe brands take longer to wear in, walk in them first
Don't wear new shoes in a race!
Plaster/second skin trouble spots before you run
Dry your feet in between toes
Talcum powder after a run
Where bare feet as much as possible (toughens feet)
